Katie Wyatt – CEO and Founder
Katie founded the And Still I Rise Foundation to ensure no one has to wait for bureaucratic red tape to get help. Using her own business and creative offerings to help fund operations, she established a radical promise: 100% of public donations go directly to the field. Under her leadership, the foundation provides rapid crisis relief globally and trauma-informed animal healing locally. She is currently expanding the foundation's 8-acre care farm, seeking visionary partners to build a 300+ acre global healing sanctuary.
Crystal Sousa - Board of Directors
Crystal is a survivor, healer, and advocate who transformed a life shaped by trauma, loss, and hardship into a path of deep compassion and service. She is honored to serve on the Board of Directors, carrying the foundation's mission of dignity, healing, and hope into every single heart she meets.
Alison Daniels - Board of Directors
Since becoming a Reiki Master in 2009, Alison has been guided by a profound truth: true healing is the restoration of harmony. She brings her deep background in holistic wellness and community building to the foundation. As our Director of Communications, Ali ensures that every donor, family, and community member feels the restorative love that fuels our movement.
Bilal from Gaza - Team Lead Gaza
Bilal’s journey with the foundation began when we started supporting his own family with monthly food parcels. After learning of his profound personal losses, including his home, loved ones, and livelihood, alongside his incredible talents, Katie felt deeply guided to invite him to join our mission. Today, Bilal serves as our trusted, boots-on-the-ground community coordinator in Gaza, helping both people and animals in crisis. We are incredibly blessed to have him. He enables us to build direct, trusting relationships with those most in need, ensuring vulnerable families receive emergency tents, vital food parcels, and assistance in securing safe land for temporary shelters.
